President Emmerson Mnangagwa has expressed deep sorrow following the death of former Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga, describing him as “a towering figure whose legacy transcends Kenya’s borders.”
Odinga (80) reportedly died of a heart attack on Wednesday in India, where he was undergoing treatment.
A memorial service was held in his honour in Nairobi yesterday, with his burial set for tomorrow.
In a condolence message to Kenyan President William Ruto, President Mnangagwa said Zimbabwe stands in solidarity with Kenya during this difficult time, praising Odinga’s lifelong dedication to democracy, unity, and development.
