Police launch investigation into assault clips following public outcry

Police are investigating two viral assault cases, one involving a woman brutally beaten over a money dispute and another showing a man attacked over alleged infidelity.

National Police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi stated that investigations are currently underway.

“We are investigating two viral videos showing brutal assaults on social media.”

“Two separate incidents were captured in the footage. A woman was brutally beaten by a man over unpaid debt and a man was attacked by a group of men wearing white garments for alleged infidelity,” he said.
