Regional Magistrate Involved in Accident with Govt Vehicle

Regional magistrate Lungile Ncube was involved in a serious accident yesterday while driving a government vehicle along the Plumtree-Bulawayo highway, specifically near the 7-kilometer mark.

Sources close to the investigation revealed that Ncube’s Ford Ranger was sideswiped by a Sprinter bus, resulting in the vehicle overturning.

At the time of the incident, Ncube was reportedly returning from Bulawayo, accompanied by a female companion.

Emergency services transported Ncube to Plumtree Hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment for his injuries.

Authorities are in the process of arranging for the vehicle to be towed to the Vehicle Inspection Department (VID) in Plumtree for further assessment.

The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
