Pest control company offers US$2,000 to unleash 100 cockroaches in people’s homes
A pest control company is conducting a study to try and help them find the newest and greatest ways to get rid of cockroaches.
As a result, The Pest Informer is offering R34 000 to homeowners willing to let them unleash 100 American cockroaches in their homes.
Afterwards, the American-based company will then test out a specific pest control technique, to be able to gauge how effective the treatment is.
The company, which has over 20 years in the industry working as pest control technicians, is looking forward to bringing on board 5-7 household owners for the experiment.
The experiment will last for about 30 days. Those who will offer their houses will also be required to allow the company to film the experiment.
Rules of the experiment
Participants willing to offer their houses must be the owners of the home or have written approval from the homeowner. They must also be 21 years and above of age.
All tested cockroach treatments used in the experiment will be family and pet safe.
The homeowners will not be allowed to try any additional cockroach treatments during the duration of the study.
At the end of the study, the company said if the cockroach infestation will not be eliminated, they will use traditional cockroach treatment options at no cost to the homeowner.
If you are willing to open your home to 100 creepy new roommates, you can apply here.
