Nyathi Family Sues Louisa After Explosive Infidelity Claims

Popular social media couple Gilbert and Joyce Nyamhanhindi, known as the Nyathi family, have taken legal action against content creator Louisa over allegations made during a recent podcast appearance.
Through South Africa–based Mahuntsi Attorneys, the couple filed papers on January 10, 2026, a day after Louisa appeared on DJ Ollah’s podcast and accused Gilbert of infidelity, including claims he was exposed at a Boksburg lodge by his wife.

The lawyers’ letter of demand also cites allegations that Joyce contracted a sexually transmitted infection from her husband and that Louisa made disparaging remarks about her parents.
The couple is demanding a full retraction, a public apology and the removal of all related content within 72 hours, failing which Louisa faces legal action for defamation, crimen injuria and violations of South African privacy laws.
The Nyamhanhindis have dismissed the claims as false and say they are part of a smear campaign targeting their family brand.
