No Sweat, Just Grace: Prophet Makoni Declares Chivayo’s Fortune Was Destined

Business mogul Wicknell Chivayo’s rapid accumulation of wealth has been described as a manifestation of divine favour, with a local prophet declaring that his success is predestined rather than earned solely through effort.

Prophet Thomas Makoni of Gospel of the Kingdom Ministries believes Chivayo is among a select group of individuals divinely chosen for financial prosperity.

He explained that some people are simply destined to be rich, regardless of their efforts.

“Sir Wicknell Chivayo is one of our ambassadors of wealth, considering the way he is assisting people,” Makoni stated, commending the businessman’s generosity towards entertainers and others.

He further elaborated on the concept of divine favour, emphasising that financial success does not always come through hard labour.

Some individuals struggle for years, yet receive little, while others attract wealth effortlessly.

“He was just favoured, and that is what we call grace. Some people labour tirelessly, sweating for even the smallest rewards, while others receive everything they desire without much struggle.

“Sir Wicknell Chivayo is one such anointed person, and we appreciate his kindness towards his church members and those he chooses to help,” Makoni explained.

According to H-Metro, Chivayo has spent an estimated US$5 million in recent months, showering musicians, footballers and others with cash and luxury vehicles.

His high-profile donations have fuelled discussions on whether his wealth stems solely from business success or divine intervention.

Makoni dismissed critics questioning how Chivayo chooses to spend his wealth, arguing that his financial blessings are uniquely bestowed upon him.

“Those complaining that Sir Wicknell should invest his money in certain things are simply bitter because wealth did not come to them,” he remarked.

While the prophetic declaration has stirred debate, Chivayo’s generosity remains evident, with his philanthropy continuing to shape Zimbabwe’s entertainment and sports industries.
