Nigerian Woman Laid to Rest in Unique Coca-Cola Bottle Casket

A Nigerian named Madam Afuwari Ego, affectionately known as Ego Na Money, was laid to rest in the Emeyal 1 community of Ogbia Local Government Area, Bayelsa State.

Her burial took place on Saturday, November 22, 2025, and featured a striking Coca-Cola bottle-shaped casket that captured significant attention.

Ogbara Walson Henry, who documented the event, noted that the eye-catching casket drew many residents to the ceremony, Tori News reports.

Guests described it as a creative and unforgettable tribute to the beloved woman.

Family members shared that Madam Ego had a deep affection for Coca-Cola, which inspired the choice of casket. She passed away at the age of 85.
