Nigerian Pastor Claims Social Media is Controlled by Evil Forces

The Senior Pastor of The Second Coming of Christ’s Ministry, Adewale Giwa, raises alarm about the influence of social media, asserting that evil forces now control it.
During a Sunday sermon, Giwa expressed his concern that young people are primarily using social media for personal gain. He emphasized that they should instead focus on promoting the gospel.
He emphasized that social media should be a platform for spreading the message of Christ.
“Christ commanded us to go into the world and preach the gospel, and part of that world today is social media,” Giwa stated. “Unfortunately, many youths are misusing it for their own interests instead of sharing God’s true word.”
“You will see some married women on TikTok and Facebook exposing their bodies, are they propagating the word of God? No, they are just advertising themselves to the world. She can be in the bathroom or toilet and would take photos and send them on social media.
“Social media is being controlled by evil spirit and anything you can’t control is dangerous. The use of social media among the youths today is horrible that they don’t use it to propagate the gospel but worldly things.
“Some people will post worldly songs on their page and a lot of people will have access to them. People you should have converted, God will ask you tomorrow.
“If you don’t use the social media platform to propagate the gospel, God will ask you tomorrow. Some people will have 5 million followers on their page, the question is what are you using the page for? “Are you using the page to propagate the message of Jesus Christ or to destroy other people’s lives?”
