Nigerian Civil Servant (50) Seeks Wife From Specific Professions – A 50-year-old single father has sparked debate on social media after publicly outlining the qualities he is looking for in a potential wife.
The man, who described himself as a career civil servant and father of two, said he is seeking a mature woman aged between 45 and 50 for a serious relationship.
In a Facebook post circulating online, he said he would prefer a woman working as a nurse, lawyer or a member of the military or police service holding the rank of Major or above.

He wrote:
“I am a 50 years old career civil servant and proud father of a boy and a girl in search of a matured lady for a serious relationship prefer a nurse, lawyer and a female military person from the rank of major or SP in the police. She must be in the range of 45 – 50 years.a widow or single mother, any religion. Only serious minded person. Pls no insult.”
The post has attracted mixed reactions, with some social media users accusing him of being interested in a woman’s financial status or profession, while others argued that he has the right to specify the qualities he wants in a partner.
The man, however, appears to be seeking a serious relationship and specifically asked interested parties to refrain from insulting him over his preferences.
