New Study Reveals Balded Men Rank High in Female Attraction List

New Study Reveals Balded Men Rank High in Female Attraction List – Men losing their hair might be worrying for no reason—new research shows that baldness could actually be a major advantage when it comes to attraction.
In a recent survey of 2,000 women, a bald head ranked second among the most desirable male traits, just behind a muscular physique. Surprisingly, it even beat out traditionally praised features like blue eyes, dark hair, and beards.

According to Jessica Leoni, spokeswoman for Illicit Encounters—the dating site that commissioned the study—“Bald men are among the sexiest looking chaps out there.”
She emphasized that attractiveness remains “in the eye of the beholder.”

The findings challenge the belief that a full head of hair is essential for male appeal. Instead, baldness was associated with positive traits like maturity, intelligence, honesty, education, and even a non-threatening form of social dominance.

The top attractive traits revealed by the study include:
- Muscular physique (42%)
- Bald head (40%)
- Blue eyes (38%)
- Beard (36%)
- Dark hair (31%)
- Curly hair (30%)
- High cheekbones (26%)
- Blonde hair (22%)
- Green eyes (21%)
- Hairy chest (18%)
- Tattoos (10%)
- Piercings (7%)
These results suggest men might want to reconsider spending large sums on hair restoration products.
Embracing baldness could not only save money but also increase their chances of romantic success.

One man who did just that is Tom Simons, 45, from Tonbridge, Kent. After losing his hair in his mid-30s, he initially panicked and considered wigs and hats.
But a friend’s encouragement changed his perspective.
“She told me to just be bald and proud,” Tom said. “And I haven’t looked back since. There’s a certain confidence that being bald gives you—I actually get chatted up more now than I ever did with hair.”
