Nasty C Set To Thrill Fans During Bulawayo Shutdown Event On April 26

South African rapper Nasty C, known for his hit song Hell Naw, has announced that he will perform in Bulawayo, later this month.

The event, called the Bulawayo Shutdown, is organized by Harris Entertainment and Pacific Cigarette Company. Tickets are currently on sale.

The award-winning rapper shared the news on April 1 through his official X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram accounts, saying, “What’s good, Zimbabwe? Catch the kid at Bulawayo Shutdown on April 26th”.

While many fans celebrated the announcement, some questioned its validity due to the announcement coinciding with April Fool’s Day. Others expressed hope for a possible performance in Harare.

Social media reactions poured in, with one fan, @on_key_Lawzy, excitedly saying, “Hahaha, can’t wait to see you live

Another fan, @Mdogish6, declared, “I will be there no matter what.”

Meanwhile, @raa_fero urged the rapper to return to the capital, commenting, “We need you back in H Town🔥,” and @spankydaddyenemigo shared enthusiasm for a live performance of Juice Back, saying, “Ohhh snap🔥🔥🔥 can’t wait to jam to Juice Back🔥🔥🔥.”

Nasty C, whose real name is Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo, recently concluded his Ivyson campus tour in South Africa.

The tour covered multiple provinces, including Gauteng, Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal.

Known for his dynamic stage presence, the rapper continues to captivate audiences across the continent.

As anticipation builds, the Bulawayo Shutdown is expected to be a major highlight for Zimbabwean music fans, with the city eagerly counting down to April 26.
