“My Mother Does Not Have Another Child” — Shalom Charamba Addresses 30-Year-Old Rumour About Mai Charamba’s Alleged Child Outside Marriage – Shalom Charamba, the daughter of renowned gospel music couple Mai Charamba and Baba Charamba, has broken her silence on a long-standing rumour surrounding her family.

In a recent social media interaction, Shalom responded to a supporter who sympathised with her over receiving insensitive questions online. The supporter also congratulated her, prompting Shalom to explain why she sometimes feels compelled to address certain rumours publicly.

According to Shalom, there has been a false claim circulating for nearly 30 years suggesting that her mother has another child outside her marriage to Baba Charamba.

Responding to the message, she wrote:

“It’s alright. No sometimes you should and need to explain. For 30 years now people think my mom has another child, something that started as a small rumor. So sometimes, I think explaining to people is necessary cause a small rumor can turn to something else. And then sometimes, silence is golden.”

Her remarks have since sparked conversations online, with many social media users praising her for addressing the issue calmly and respectfully.
