‘Mwazha’s Burial at a Sacred Mountain Honours his Legacy’

Chief Musarurwa of Chikomba confirmed national hero and African Apostolic Church leader Ernest Paul Mamvura Mwazha was laid to rest at Chirasauta Mountain to honour his remarkable spiritual legacy and decades of service to Zimbabwe.

Mwazha, who was buried Sunday, was described by the chiefs as a figure whose works and prophetic influence warranted a sacred resting place.

Chief Musarurwa said traditional leaders met with the Mwazha family before agreeing on the site.

“Being a hero comes in different ways,” Chief Musarurwa said.

“For Apostle Paul Mwazha, we as chiefs in Chivhu welcome the gesture boldly.

“His family said he must be laid in his rural village. We thoroughly looked into the matter and came to a decision.”

He said the mountain’s deep spiritual and historical significance made it the most fitting place for Mwazha’s burial.

“As leaders we sat down and had our discussions with the family of the late Mwazha,” he said.

“Because of the good works he had been doing, we decided that he must be laid in a sacred place the mountain of Chirasauta. It has history in our country Zimbabwe.”

Chief Musarurwa said Mwazha’s prophetic role aligned with the symbolism attached to the mountain.

“We saw that the true prophet from heaven must rest there, where the shining star once showed its power.

“Mwazha is not the first. The mountain’s history is closely linked with God himself.”

He added that the mountain will now be designated a sacred site.

“We decided as chiefs that we lay him in the mountain, and the mountain will be made sacred.

“No one will just go into the mountain anytime.”
