Motorist Hits & Kills Two Pedestrians in Bulawayo -The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) is currently investigating a fatal road traffic accident that occurred along Nketa Drive in Bulawayo on the evening of 30 August 2025, at approximately 7:17 PM.
According to preliminary reports, the driver of a Subaru Forester lost control of the vehicle, veered off the road, and struck three pedestrians who were standing by the roadside.

The vehicle then side-swiped a Honda Fit that was travelling in the opposite direction.
Tragically, two of the pedestrians died on the spot, while the third sustained serious injuries.
The bodies of the deceased were transported to United Bulawayo Hospitals for post-mortem examinations.
The injured victim was also taken to the same facility for medical treatment.
The ZRP urges all road users to exercise extreme caution and adhere to road safety regulations at all times.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the accident are ongoing.
