Millions, Luxury Gifts & Global Entertainment Mark Tagwirei’s Son Wedding –  The wedding ceremony of Taonanyasha John Tagwirei, son of prominent businessman , and Poneso Tinomuda Janda was held in Harare over the weekend, drawing high-profile guests from the business, political and religious sectors.

President attended the ceremony as the guest of honour and officially blessed the newlyweds during the lavish celebration.

The glamorous wedding became one of the most talked-about social events of the year, with guests arriving in luxury vehicles and dressed in designer outfits, reflecting the upscale nature of the occasion.

Several prominent businesspeople presented extravagant gifts to the couple. Dr Tagwirei and his wife Sandra reportedly gifted the newlyweds US$2.5 million together with 33 hectares of prime land in Umwinsidale, which is believed to be valued at approximately US$15 million.

Businessman reportedly contributed US$250,000 and a luxury designer bag, while gold dealer gifted the couple US$500,000.

Businessman Obey Chimuka and his wife reportedly contributed US$275,000, while G6 added US$100,000 towards the celebrations.

Chief Secretary in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development and his wife also made a notable contribution by gifting the couple 25 pregnant pedigree Beefmaster heifers from their farming operations, along with US$250,000 in cash.

Award-winning gospel musician reportedly gifted the newlyweds US$150,000.

Prominent religious leaders including and his wife attended the wedding, alongside several senior government officials and business executives. Lieutenant Colonel was also among the notable attendees.

Internationally acclaimed American R&B group provided entertainment at the event, performing for guests during the lavish reception.
