Midnight Exit Turns Into Mystery as Man Goes Missing

HARARE – The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has appealed for public assistance in locating Garikai Mashinga, a 53-year-old man who went missing after leaving his home at 2 AM in Nyatsime, Chitungwiza, on 11 December 2024.

According to ZRP, Mashinga had complained of stomach pains before stepping outside to relieve himself.

However, his wife later discovered that he never entered the toilet and was nowhere to be found, raising concerns over his disappearance.

In a statement shared on their official Twitter handle, ZRP urged anyone with information to report to the nearest police station to assist ongoing investigations.

Concerns over Mashinga’s whereabouts are growing as ZRP intensifies search efforts, urging residents to remain vigilant and report any possible sightings.
