Masvingo Man Fined US$15 for Faulty Car Window – A Masvingo motorist was fined US$15 after a police officer charged him for failing to have a car window that rolled up or down.

The driver said he was charged under Section C/S 62(2)(C) of the Road Traffic Act.

Although he initially wanted to contest the fine, he ended up paying because he needed to rush his Grade 3 and Grade 5 children to school for exams.

A copy of the Admission of Guilt form shows the offence recorded as “window winding mechanism not in good working order.”
