Man Caught R@ping his Friend’s Wife Arrested

A 42-year-old man from Marimba was arrested on Sunday for allegedly raping his friend’s wife. The suspect, Ernest Njazi, was reportedly caught in the act by the victim’s husband.
According to a report by H-metro, the incident occurred early Sunday morning in one of Njazi’s spare bedrooms. The victim, a 39-year-old woman, claimed she had been raped, prompting her husband to confront Njazi. The husband then assaulted Njazi, leading to his arrest.

Inspector Luckmore Chakanza, a spokesperson for the Harare provincial police, confirmed the details of the case. “Police arrested a Marimba man for raping his friend’s wife,” Chakanza stated.
According to police reports, the events unfolded on Saturday evening. The victim and her husband were invited to Njazi’s home for drinks.
Later, they all went to a nearby shop for more beer. After returning to Njazi’s house around 1 a.m., the victim was given a room to sleep in because she was intoxicated.
While the victim slept, her husband stayed in the living room with Njazi. Eventually, the husband fell asleep on the sofa. Njazi then allegedly took this opportunity to enter the victim’s room.
When the husband awoke to sounds coming from the bedroom, he went to check and confronted Njazi. The situation escalated into a struggle, and Njazi’s wife and children came to help, breaking up the confrontation.
