Prominent Johane Masowe Yechishanu Church leader, Madzibaba Simbarashe Nengomasha a.k.a Commander, was awarded Outstanding Vapositori Church Leader at the Zim Community Trailblazers Awards.
The prestigious award, handed over to him at a glamorous awards dinner, was in recognition of his tireless efforts in spreading the word and serving his community.
The Chitungwiza-based apostolic prophet has been driving positive change in the community, from donating foodstuffs and blankets in hospitals, among other things.
He has inspired countless individuals and families, providing a haven of peace and support in the heart of Zimbabwe.

Speaking to the media on the milestone, Madzibaba Simba attributed his success to God and the earnest support and love from his church members.
“I want to thank God for this award; if not for God, I would not have done it alone,” he said.
“My sincere gratitude also goes to Johane Masowe Yechishanu Canaan, who are loyal in supporting my vision of contributing positively to communities.”
“Like President Emmerson Mnangagwa said, ‘Nyika Inovakwa Nevene Vayo,’ it is upon us as citizens to work hand in hand with the government as we aim to achieve an upper-middle-income status by 2030.”
Meanwhile, Madzibaba Simba is currently constructing a clinic in his hometown in Hwedza, which is almost complete.
The initiative has been greatly praised by the Hwedza community for bringing relief to pregnant mothers and senior citizens who had to walk miles to access medical facilities.
Through his unwavering commitment to his faith and community, Madzibaba Simba has demonstrated exceptional leadership, compassion, and dedication.
His tireless work has earned him the respect and admiration of his peers and community, making him an outstanding example of an indigenous church leader.
“Madzibaba Simba, a true trailblazer in the indigenous church movement, for your selfless service, inspiring leadership, and dedication to the community,” the Zim Community Trailblazers Awards officials said as they congratulated Madzibaba Simba.
“Your legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.”
