Lodge Worker Arrested for Hosting Underage S3x
A 36-year-old employee of the Royal Guest Lodge was arrested on Wednesday following allegations of booking six students, dressed in school uniforms, into rooms for sexual activities.
According to reports from H-Metro, the suspect, identified as Christabel Muchemwa, allegedly reserved rooms for three male students from Pathway College along with their female partners from Excell College. Each room was reportedly charged at US$20.
Authorities claim that one of the female students, aged 17, had already engaged in unprotected sexual intercourse with her partner when police arrived at the lodge after receiving a tip-off.
Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the arrest, stating that one of the male students is facing charges related to sexual intercourse with a minor.
Muchemwa is being charged under Section 86 of the Criminal Law Codification and Reform Act. The police spokesperson added that investigations are ongoing, and the female students have been referred for medical examinations.
Reports suggest that the group arrived at the lodge in a taxi, and it is believed that the driver informed the police about the situation, leading to the arrest.
