Lady Gaga Opens Up About Love and Fame
Award-winning singer, songwriter, and actress Lady Gaga has candidly revealed that she once believed she would be single “forever” because of her fame.
At 38, she recently announced her engagement to boyfriend Michael Polansky, expressing her relief at no longer being alone.
In an interview with Vogue, Lady Gaga shared her fears about navigating life in the public eye. “I kind of thought I was going to have to do this all by myself—forever.
“And that was really scary. Because it’s a big life. And I don’t think anyone really knows what it feels like unless you’re in it. And I don’t have to do this alone anymore,” she said.
The House of Gucci star described Polansky as a “totally supportive, loving human being” who is genuinely interested in her as a person, not just as a celebrity.
“I’d been so focused on my career since I was a teenager, and the gift of that time was that I got to completely focus on my relationship. I met this totally supportive, loving human being who wanted to get to know me—outside of Lady Gaga,” she added.
Lady Gaga also revealed that it was her mother who introduced her to Polansky, marking a new chapter in her life as she embraces love and companionship.
