In a candid interview with Hip TV, Nigerian singer Korede Bello, known for his hit song Godwin, opened up about his departure from Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records.

Speaking with reality star Kim Oprah, the artist revealed he left the label after feeling like a mere “product” designed to generate profit.

“I reached a point where I started to feel like something being sold, just there to make money,” Bello explained.

He reflected on the constant chase for the next hit, noting how it can distract artists from what truly matters. ‘Many of us get addicted to that cycle,’ he added.”
