JUST IN: Fuel prices go up

The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) has announced new diesel and petrol prices with effect from today, the 25th of April 2022.

A litre of diesel now costs ZWL$264.77 or US$1.71 whereas a litre of petrol now costs ZWL$252.40 or US$1.63.

Prior to today’s price adjustment, the price of petrol was ZWL$213.49 and US$1.59 per litre, while diesel was ZWL$213.90 and US$1.60 per litre.

In a statement, ZERA highlighted that the new prices are in accordance with the price patterns in the international oil market.

The energy regulatory authority also advised the public that the blending ratio is now at E10.
