Jodhpur Horror as Parents Slit Throats of Three Children Before Attempting Suicide
INDIA – A horrific crime in Kolu Pabuji village, Phalodi tehsil, has left the community in shock.
A couple allegedly poisoned, strangled, and slit the throats of their three children late Monday night before attempting suicide.
On Tuesday morning, relatives spotted blood in the courtyard and immediately alerted authorities.
Police arrived at the scene and found the parents unconscious.
All five family members were rushed to the hospital. Tragically, the children Harish(9) Kiran (5) and Natthu, (3) were declared dead on arrival, while the parents remain hospitalized.
Superintendent of Police Pooja Awana stated that Shivlal and his wife, Jatno Devo, had a heated argument Monday night, which investigators believe led to the crime.
The children were first poisoned, then strangled, before the parents slit their throats and wrists using sharp objects.
According to India TV News, authorities recovered critical evidence, including an empty poison bottle, a blade, and a knife from the scene.
It was Shivlal’s brother’s wife who first noticed blood outside the house early in the morning and alerted the family.
Police are questioning relatives and awaiting statements from the couple once their condition stabilizes.
The bodies of the children have been sent for post-mortem examination.
Police are investigating the full sequence of events and working to determine the motive behind this tragedy.
