Jilted Girlfriend Disrupts Pastor’s Wedding, Leaving Guests in Shock

BULAWAYO—A church wedding turned chaotic on Saturday when a Tabernacle Church pastor’s longtime girlfriend dramatically interrupted his secret wedding, claiming he was already married.

The ceremony, held at Presbyterian Church near Entumbane High School, was set to unite Pastor Webby Mukoka with his fiancée, Millet Munenge.

The groom arrived first, elegantly dressed, unaware that his other girlfriend—along with family members had quietly taken front-row seats.

Minutes later, the bride entered in a flowing white gown, her face concealed beneath a veil.

But before the officiating minister could proceed, an uncle of the jilted lover raised his hand, halting the event.

“Objection! This man is married,” he announced, sending waves of shock through the congregation.

According to Herald, Mukoka’s previous relationship was well-known within certain circles, making the secrecy of his wedding all the more controversial.

The sudden revelation led to chaos as guests reacted with disbelief, while both families and church members were left divided.

This scandal echoes a similar incident that occurred in Gweru in 2019, where both the bride and groom were secretly married to other people.

Their wedding at the Gweru Civil Court was abruptly halted when the groom’s legal wife exposed his deception, leading to public outrage.

The bride, too, was later found to have been customarily married for 15 years.

Like the Entumbane case, the revelation sparked heated discussions on hidden relationships within religious circles.

As the fallout continues, questions remain about Mukoka’s standing in the church and the impact of this dramatic interruption on his reputation.

More developments are expected as the involved parties navigate the aftermath of the halted ceremony.
