Jah Prayzah Postpones U.S. Tour Dates Due to Visa Processing Delay

Jah Prayzah Postpones U.S. Tour Dates Due to Visa Processing Delay, Confirms Canada Shows Still On – Zimbabwean music icon Jah Prayzah has announced the postponement of his highly anticipated U.S. tour dates scheduled for early July, citing technical issues with visa processing as the cause of the delay.
The affected shows include performances initially set for Washington, D.C. on July 4 and Dallas, Texas on July 5.
In a heartfelt statement released this week, the award-winning artist expressed disappointment over the unexpected setback and extended gratitude to fans who had already made arrangements to attend the shows.
“I write this with a heavy heart,” Jah Prayzah stated. “I was ready and excited to meet you in Washington, D.C. and Dallas. I know many of you had already made travel plans, booked hotels, and secured your tickets. I was just as ready to give you the show you deserve.”
According to the artist, the issue arose from a technical complication during the visa application process.
Although appointments were attended earlier in the month, a form error forced a restart of the application procedure. Unfortunately, new appointments could not be scheduled in time for the tour dates.
“The U.S. Consulate was supportive and tried to assist in every possible way they could,” Jah Prayzah explained.
“Some have tried to push the narrative that visas were denied — that is not true. But sadly, it changes nothing at this point.”

Promoters DJ Nhunzi and Xcelerate were praised for their efforts in attempting to keep the shows on schedule.
Jah Prayzah also assured fans that full ticket refunds will be issued and that the Ndini Mukudzeyi World Tour will make its way to the U.S. in the near future with new dates to be announced.
Meanwhile, the Canadian leg of the tour remains unaffected, with performances in Edmonton on July 11 and Toronto on July 12 confirmed to proceed as planned.
“We can’t wait to see you there,” he said, closing his message with appreciation and continued commitment to his international audience.
Fans are encouraged to stay updated through official channels for further announcements.
