InDriver Brian Nandana Laid to Rest Following Murder by Best Friend – Family members, friends and church congregants gathered in sorrow on Sunday to bid farewell to Brian Nandana, whose death has shocked the nation after he was allegedly murdered by a close friend before his body was dumped in a gravel pit near a cemetery in Harare.
Nandana, 28, was laid to rest at Glen Forest Memorial Park on the outskirts of Harare during an emotional burial attended by relatives, friends and members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Mourners were overcome with grief as they paid their final respects to the late Nandana, whose life was tragically cut short in circumstances that have drawn widespread public attention.
Police investigations led to the arrest of 34-year-old , who is facing murder charges in connection with the case.
According to court proceedings, the incident allegedly occurred in the early hours of May 19 in the Warren Park area of Harare.
Prosecutors allege that Severa lured Nandana to Pfukwa Shopping Centre in Warren Park D under the pretext of giving him money. The court heard that after entering Nandana’s Toyota Aqua vehicle, Severa allegedly strangled him before attacking him with a knife.
It is further alleged that after the murder, the suspect drove to a gravel pit near Warren Hills Cemetery where he concealed the body beneath stones.
Court documents state that Severa later abandoned the scene after encountering security guards and another individual guarding nearby earth-moving equipment.
Investigators reportedly recovered a blood-stained Toyota Aqua vehicle at the scene, leading to further police investigations.
The court also heard that detectives recovered the deceased’s iPhone 12 cellphone, which allegedly contained conversations between the two shortly before the incident.
Police later arrested Severa, who allegedly led investigators to the recovery of Nandana’s body as well as the deceased’s car keys, which had reportedly been hidden at his residence.
Severa recently appeared before Harare magistrate Ruth Moyo facing murder charges and was remanded in custody. He was advised to approach the High Court for bail consideration.
