Zodwa Wabantu and her beau Olefile Mpudi have presented a united front and quashed reports that they are no longer an item.
Speaking to TshisaLIVE the pair have set the record straight on their relationship, saying its strong and there is no break-up looming. In fact they are happily celebrating one year and six months of their relationship.
“I’m still dating Ricardo Olefile Mpudi. I know there’s a misconception out there because we are protecting our relationship.”
Zodwa Wabantu previously sparked controversy after revealing that she terminated several pregnancies because she was stout (naughty) when growing up and had too much unprotected tlof tlof.
“I had the abortions because I was stout and didn’t cond0mise,” she tells News24 in an interview. “I don’t have any regrets.”
Zodwa Wabantu set tongues wagging after the latest episode of her reality show, Zodwa Wabantu Uncensored. In the episode, she spoke candidly about having 11 pregnancies and performed a ceremony to acknowledge the children.
Her reality show Zodwa Wabantu Uncensored aired on Moja Love on DStv channel 157 and speaking to TshisaLIVE then the star said viewers could expect plenty from her show
“People can expect to see my son speaking about how he feels about being the child of Zodwa, who has been called names and whatever they say about me. Then Ricardo, my boyfriend, my journey of accepting my ancestral calling, fighting with family, witchcraft at home, and everybody who’s against me who says I want ukuthwala ngabo, hey, my life is upside down.”
Fast forward to the present: the reality TV star came clean and said the break-up was a stunt.
“No we were shooting a reality show so we make so many stunts trying to teach that you should get help in case something doesn’t go well or right. Remember in the reality show I teach rawness about me, I’m the example. I never went to court there’s no break-up that happened. We never broke up.”
