“I Didn’t Want To Leave Them Heartbroken” – Ghanaian Man Marries Three Women In Three Days

GHANA – In a rare and unexpected move, a Ghanaian choir master has drawn national attention after marrying three women in three consecutive days, citing emotional responsibility as his main reason.

Nicholas Mbir, from Winneba, said he chose to wed all three women to avoid leaving them heartbroken, emphasizing that his decision was driven by love and fairness rather than spectacle.

Mbir exchanged vows with Grace Agyarko on April 23, Esther Abass on April 24, and Angelina Prah on April 25, culminating in a grand joint celebration with all three brides on April 26 at Sakora Park in Winneba.

His unusual approach to marriage has stirred discussions on love, commitment and polygamy in modern Ghanaian society.

Mbir highlighted how many men date women, take advantage of them, and then leave them emotionally broken.

His decision, he said, was meant to prevent such pain.

He also revealed that each of his wives came into his life at different points, forming genuine connections with them through various experiences.

One met him through a dance troupe, another in a church choir and the third during a live band performance.

According to mynewsgh.com, Mbir maintains that there is no hierarchy among his wives, rejecting the idea of a “senior wife.”

He affirms that he treats all of them equally, adding that fairness is the foundation of his household.

Regarding the possibility of marrying more women, Mbir noted that financial stability would be a key factor in making such a decision. “Only if my finances improve. For now, I want to take good care of the ones I have,” he said.

His decision has sparked diverse reactions from the public. While some praise his commitment, others question the practicality of his choice.
