Help Catch Him and Get Paid! Reward Announced for Clues on Businessman Dodging US$11K Debt

A manhunt is underway for Andile Victor Nhlamba, a businessman from Montrose, Bulawayo, who has been on the run for months, successfully dodging authorities after failing to settle a US$11K debt.
His former friend and business associate, Jordache Derek Saudan, has now offered a reward for credible information that could help authorities locate and bring him to justice as search efforts intensify.
The financial dispute started in 2023, when Saudan invested US$10,200 in a trucking venture with Nhlamba, expecting significant returns.
However, Nhlamba allegedly vanished without fulfilling his business promises, prompting Saudan to take legal action for breach of contract and financial misconduct.
On August 8, 2024, the court ruled in Saudan’s favor, ordering Nhlamba to repay the debt by June 19, 2024, which he failed to do.
Authorities have been searching for Nhlamba for months, but he remains elusive, fueling speculation that he may have fled Zimbabwe to avoid arrest.
According to Crime Watch Zimbabwe, appeals for his capture have intensified as the search gains momentum, with information circulating widely.
Saudan remains adamant about his reward offer, urging the public to provide crucial leads on Nhlamba’s whereabouts.
Authorities plead for anyone with credible information to step forward as efforts to track down Nhlamba intensify.
They emphasize that cases like this highlight the risks of non-contractual business deals based on trust rather than legally binding agreements.
