Harare Teacher Sentenced to Community Service After Stealing US$5,200 From Husband – A Selbourne Primary School teacher, Patricia Yusufu, has allegedly been ordered to perform 170 hours of community service at Wilkins Hospital after being convicted of stealing US$5,200 from her husband, Mike Charles.
Harare magistrate Nyaradzo Manokore sentenced her to 24 months in prison, wholly suspended on condition of good behaviour and repayment of the stolen funds.

“The accused must make restitution of US$5,200 to Mike Charles by 31 November 2025,” read part of the sentence.
The court also ruled that failure to complete community service would activate the remaining prison term.
Speaking to H Metro, Mike said the marriage fell apart because of his wife’s infidelity.
“I found evidence my wife was involved with three different men,” he said.
“One of them, a married man in the UK, even bought her a Honda Fit.”
Patricia declined to comment.
