A Harare motorist has been fined US$172 by the City Council for conducting an unauthorized passenger drop-off in the Central Business District (CBD).
The vehicle was also impounded, attracting an additional US$11 storage fee.
The penalty comes amid a renewed crackdown by the Harare City Council (HCC) on traffic violations and unregulated commuter activities in the capital.
