Fury as Makandiwa Claims His Family Has a Guaranteed Ticket to Heaven

Renowned religious leader Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa has sparked outrage after declaring that his biological children and parents are guaranteed entry into heaven.
The statement, made during a recent United Family International Church (UFIC) service, has ignited heated debate on social media.
Clad in an all-white outfit, which some followers interpreted as symbolic of purity and righteousness, Makandiwa confidently assured his congregation that he had no doubts about his family’s salvation, insisting, “If I look at my parents, I have no question mark.
Even if they get angry sometimes, I know they are going to heaven.” He extended the claim to his children, stating that he sees them as “candidates of heaven” with “nowhere else to go.”
His remarks have revived discussions about a viral statement he made in 2018, where he boldly claimed he had already secured a “one-way ticket to heaven.”
In that clip, Makandiwa declared, “If you get to heaven and don’t find me there, you would have gone to hell. That’s not heaven, because everything needed to secure eternal life, I have done it.”
According to iHarare, the preacher’s latest statements have reignited debate, with critics arguing that no one can determine another person’s spiritual fate with absolute certainty.
Some skeptics compared his remarks to Prophet Talent Madungwe, who has previously claimed to visit Heaven frequently and interact with angels.
Supporters, however, contend that Makandiwa is merely reinforcing the power of faith and the assurance of salvation through belief in Jesus.
Others recalled his earlier teachings, which emphasize that faith alone is the key to eternal life.
Despite the backlash, Makandiwa remains firm in his belief that salvation is secured through faith, maintaining that his family’s entry into heaven is already assured.
