Four women, aged 22 to 30, appeared in Harare Magistrates Court this week on charges of soliciting prostitution through social media.
According to a report by the National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe, police acted on a tip received on May 9, 2025, around midday, about a group of women allegedly providing massage and sexual services for a fee at a site in Hillside, Harare, described as a “massage parlour.”
After conducting their investigation, law enforcement arrested the four individuals. They all pleaded guilty in court.
Each woman was fined US$30 or faced one month in jail if they did not pay.
