According to Herald, the three women told the court that they were involved in s£x work to survive, citing lack of employment opportunities and economic hardship.
The magistrate fined each of them US$50, or 45 days in jail if they fail to pay.
However, it was Pedzisai, a paying client, who received the harshest penalty.
He was fined US$100, with the court noting aggravating circumstances — including the fact that he has a pregnant wife at home, which the magistrate said reflected a “disturbing disregard for family values and public decency.”
