Father Commits Suicide After Killing Two Sons in Nkayi

Nkayi – Authorities in Matabeleland North are looking into a heartbreaking case in which a father reportedly took the lives of his two young sons before ending his own.

According to a statement from the Zimbabwe Republic Police shared on X, the incident involved 47-year-old Zenzo Ncube, who allegedly murdered his sons, 8-year-old Mandlenkosi Ncube and 5-year-old Zimiso Ncube, before committing suicide by hanging on December 14 at Mahlikihliki Village.

The community is in shock over the tragedy, prompting officials to encourage families to pursue mental health support and be vigilant about early warning signs of distress.
