Glamis Arena throbbed with heat, hype and heavy bass until the mood flipped in minutes.
Moments after dancehall giant Winky D wrapped up his explosive set, fans began streaming out of the venue as DJ Fantan dropped the bombshell announcement that Mapfumo Jnr was next on stage.
The exit was swift, loud and telling, turning what should have been a smooth transition into an awkward comedown.
The night had started on a high, with Killer T opening the show and instantly igniting the arena with his 2025 hit Kana Ndanyura, sending early arrivals into a frenzy.
