Family Mourns Harare Hit-and-Run Victim Found at Parirenyatwa Hospital – A Harare family is mourning the death of young man Anesu Mubingi, who was reportedly killed in a hit-and-run accident in Mount Pleasant after being struck by a vehicle whose driver allegedly fled the scene without rendering assistance.

According to reports, the family had been searching for Anesu after he went missing on Friday, 8 May, at around 9pm.

He had reportedly left home heading to Greencroft, where he worked part-time as a master of ceremonies at a local bar.

The family later received information from a member of the public who had seen a missing person notice circulating online and informed them that Anesu’s body was at Parirenyatwa Hospital.

The tragic incident has sparked renewed calls for motorists involved in accidents to stop and assist victims instead of fleeing scenes.
