Ex-Employee Among Arrested Suspects in Bulawayo Robbery

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) in Mzilikazi quickly responded to a tip-off and arrested three men linked to a robbery at Alticon Logistics.

The suspects are Mthabisi Ndlovu, 25, Donson Dube, 22, and Tatenda Choga, 23.

The trio allegedly attacked a security guard while wearing balaclavas and armed with okapi knives and a screwdriver.

They blindfolded the guard with plastic, gagged him, and tied him up with wire before stabbing him three times in the leg.

The suspects were caught in the act as they loaded a truck with stolen items, including 37 six-metre zinc sheets, 13 bundles of plain wire, and 23 standard door frames.

Investigations revealed that one of the suspects had previously worked for the company.
