ED’s Huchi Chanter Bobby Makaza Broke Again — Wicknell’s Aqua Gift Gone, $2K Blown on Woman Who Left Him – Former ZANU-PF campaign enthusiast, Bobby Makaza, who once coined the viral slogan “ED Huchi,” has reportedly fallen on hard times barely a year after receiving a lavish gift from businessman Sir Wicknell Chivayo.

In March 2024, Sir Wicknell gifted Makaza a Toyota Aqua and US$2,000 in recognition of his spirited political support during the 2023 election period.

Given Makaza’s controversial background as a convicted r@pist who was released under a presidential amnesty by President Emmerson Mnangagwa,

However, according to reports circulating online, Makaza’s fortunes have taken a sharp downturn.

The gifted Toyota Aqua reportedly broke down after he failed to service it, while the US$2,000 he received was allegedly spent on a woman he intended to marry — only for the relationship to collapse.

Now, Makaza has publicly admitted to being broke and embarrassed to approach Sir Wicknell for further assistance.

Sir Wicknell, who is well known for his philanthropic gestures — often gifting cars and cash to artists, church members, and loyal supporters — has not yet commented on Makaza’s situation.
