Dzivarasekwa Man Arrested for R@ping Neighbour’s Wife– A Dzivarasekwa Extension man has been arrested in connection with an alleged r@pe, kidnapping and arson case following a violent attack on his neighbours in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The suspect, identified as Godwilson Manake, is accused of attacking a couple at their residence after his alleged advances towards the woman were repeatedly rejected.

According to police, the incident occurred at around 2am when Manake allegedly forced his way into the couple’s cabin while they were asleep.
Investigations indicate that he allegedly assaulted the woman’s husband with a chain, forcing him to flee from the room.
Police further allege that the suspect gagged the woman before s£xually assaulting her.
Following the alleged attack, Manake is accused of setting the cabin on fire, destroying property valued at approximately US$500.
Authorities say he then allegedly took the woman from the scene against her will and fled to a nearby bushy area.
The woman remains missing, and police have launched a search operation to establish her whereabouts.
Harare provincial police spokesperson Inspector Luckmore Chakanza confirmed the incident.
“Police arrested a Dzivarasekwa Extension man for multiple offences, including assault, kidnapping and malicious damage to property,” said Chakanza.
Investigations into the matter are continuing.
