Dynamos Appoint Saul Chaminuka as Head Coach in Bold Reshuffle

Dynamos FC have confirmed the appointment of Saul Chaminuka as their new head coach, implementing a major technical reshuffle ahead of the new season.

This strategic move signals a fresh direction for the club as they look to reinforce their squad under new leadership.

Previously with Kwekwe United, Chaminuka steps into the Dynamos coaching role with a wealth of experience in Zimbabwean football.

His appointment follows the departure of Lloyd “Mablanyo” Chigowe and his assistant Mark Mathe, as the club initiates a structural overhaul to enhance its performance.

Joining Chaminuka’s technical team is Philemon Mutyakureva, who returns as assistant coach, a position he previously held under Kalisto Pasuwa from 2012 to 2014.

Marlon Jani, another familiar face, steps in as goalkeepers’ coach, further strengthening Dynamos’ technical department.

The club retained Takesure Chinyama as strikers’ coach, continuing in his role to develop the team’s attacking force.

Meanwhile, Ronald Sibanda remains as team manager, ensuring stability within the squad.

Washington Lusengo also keeps his position as kit manager, while Puo Mhizha joins as assistant kit manager, a decision backed by Chaminuka as part of the club’s restructuring strategy.

According to Herald News, the reshuffle marks the official exit of Lloyd Chigowe, who had led the club since August 2024.

His departure, alongside his assistant Mark Mathe, signifies a new era for the Glamour Boys as they reposition their technical leadership.

Chaminuka’s first major test comes this Sunday in the much-anticipated Harare Derby against CAPS United at Rufaro Stadium.

With the revamped technical team now in place, Dynamos will be aiming for a strong start as they gear up for the domestic campaign.
