DJ Zinhle’s R10K Tribute to Nandi Nyembe Sparks National Gratitude

South African media personality DJ Zinhle has donated R10,000 (USD$562.90) toward the funeral arrangements of veteran actress Nandi Nyembe, who passed away on 23 August 2025, at the age of 75.

Nyembe, known for her iconic roles in Zone 14 and Adulting, died in hospital after battling a long-term illness.

Her passing has left a deep void in the entertainment industry and among fans across the country.

The donation was publicly shared by influencer Mandisi Tshigana, who has been actively mobilizing support for the Nyembe family through social media.

Tshigana posted a screenshot of DJ Zinhle’s contribution, which quickly went viral.
