DJ Bhozhongora demands back gifts from ex-girlfriend after break up
DJ Bhozhongora, also known as Washington Marimira, who is a presenter on National FM, is demanding gifts back and has initiated legal proceedings against his former girlfriend, Nyasha Zenge.
Bhozhongora is seeking compensation for both the money and groceries he had spent while preparing to pay lobola for Zenge in December last year.

Allegations are that Bhozhongora’s lawyers filed a complaint against Zenge in a Harare Civil Court, seeking to compel her to reimburse him for the expenses he incurred while dating her, stating that she had promised to pay him back but had failed to do so.
His lawyers further claimed that Marimira had been generous in his financial support towards Zenge, and that he had given her more than enough time to reimburse him, but to no avail. Zenge, on the other hand, has reportedly claimed that she was not in a position to repay the funds due to unforeseen circumstances.
In contrast, Zenge denies all accusations, stating that their marriage plans were disrupted by her illness. She alleges that Bhozhongora orchestrated any incidents of physical abuse and accuses him of smearing her name by claiming that she misused his money and did not fulfill their wedding plans.
Zenge also claims that Marimira has manipulated the legal system, leading to her arrest and causing her restrictions in public places due to fabricated threats of violence and death.
“I’m practically restricted from going anywhere,” she expressed. The case continues to stir controversy and divide opinions within public discourse.
