Diddy Indicted on New Charges Amid S€x Trafficking Allegations, Cassie to Testify

NEW YORK – Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing additional criminal charges as prosecutors filed a third superseding indictment on April 4, 2025.
The indictment, presented in the Southern District of New York at the Daniel Patrick Moynihan United States Courthouse, accuses Diddy of using coercion, fraud, or force to compel a woman, referred to as “Victim-2,” to engage in commercial s€x acts from 2021 to 2024.
It also alleges that he transported the victim and others for purposes of prostitution.
The case, which has garnered widespread attention, involves testimony from four accusers, including Diddy’s former girlfriend, Cassie.
According to court documents, Cassie is reportedly “Victim-1” in the case. TMZ confirmed that she is prepared to testify under her own name.
Cassie’s initial lawsuit against Diddy in November 2023, citing s€xu@l assault and s€x trafficking allegations, set off a wave of similar claims against the 55-year-old.
Although her lawsuit was settled quickly for an undisclosed sum, much of her allegations now serve as the basis for the current charges.
Diddy’s legal team has strongly denied the accusations, maintaining that the relationships in question were consensual.
His representatives stated, “These allegations are not new and they stem from private, consensual relationships,” dismissing the claims as unfounded.
The trial is scheduled to begin on May 12 after being delayed to allow additional time for jury selection, motion hearings and evidence disclosures.
Diddy’s attempts to exclude 2016 security footage reportedly showing him attacking Cassie in a hotel corridor were unsuccessful.
Prosecutors claim to have the original footage to counter his claims that it was altered.
Efforts by the defense to access certain evidence, including personal videos provided by Cassie, were also denied, with prosecutors accusing Diddy of attempting to violate protective orders.
As the court date approaches, all eyes remain on the proceedings.
