Delhi Police Capture Elusive Thief Known For “Poop And Run” Defense

INDIA – A 27-year-old phone thief in New Delhi, notorious for defecating on command to evade capture, has finally been apprehended.
Deepak, who had a history of mobile thefts and knife-related crimes, used his bizarre “poop and run” tactic to repulse police officers and escape multiple times.
His unusual defense mechanism involved creating an unbearable stench, giving him time to flee the scene.
The Delhi police spokesperson confirmed that a patrol team spotted Deepak near Eidgah Park and was fully prepared for his tactic. Equipped with gloves and masks, officers successfully pinned him down despite his attempt to deploy what they referred to as his “filth plan.”
The spokesperson added, “We were prepared for his tricks this time and our team successfully took him into custody,” as reported by News18.
Deepak confessed to numerous phone thefts and other crimes after his arrest.
Police confirmed that he had over half a dozen cases against him across Delhi, with his unique escape method helping him elude law enforcement for an extended period.
After his capture, a case was registered under the Arms Act.
Police lodged the case at the Sadar Bazar Police Station.
