Fabio Paim, a former teammate of Cristiano Ronaldo, has made headlines after announcing his new career as a pornstar.
The 36-year-old ex-footballer, who began his journey at Sporting Lisbon’s academy alongside Ronaldo, revealed earlier this month that he has entered the adult film industry.
Paim, who had a brief loan spell at Chelsea in 2008, has embraced the spotlight following his surprising announcement.
“The news about the porn film is all the rage here; everyone is going wild,” he stated in an interview with Globo Esporte. “People aren’t taking it the wrong way; it’s just who I am. I always dreamed of being a porn actor and received many offers.”
With the buzz surrounding him, Paim decided to move forward with his first film, expressing, “It’s great to have sex and get paid for it.”
Once considered a rising star in football, Paim believes he was regarded as a more talented player than Ronaldo during their youth.
However, he attributes his untapped potential to a lack of the right mindset, ultimately leading to his retirement in 2018 without any international caps.
In contrast, Ronaldo has become one of the greatest players in history.
Paim recently stirred controversy by suggesting that Ronaldo should give him one of his coveted Ballon d’Or awards. “If I had half of Cristiano’s mentality, maybe it would be me, him, and Messi winning those awards,” he said during a podcast appearance.
Ronaldo hit back with a savage response, writing on Instagram: ‘Wtf??? Who is this guy?’
Despite facing legal issues in the past, including accusations of rape and drug trafficking, Paim is optimistic about his future in the adult film industry.
His debut has garnered positive feedback, indicating a promising new chapter for the former footballer.
