Court Drama Unfolds as Crowhill Man Accused of Masturbating in Full View of Neighbour

HARARE — Panic gripped a Crowhill neighbourhood after a man allegedly exposed himself and masturbated in front of a female neighbour in broad daylight.

The suspect, whose name has been withheld for legal and privacy reasons, appeared in court on Saturday facing charges of public indecency.

The incident reportedly occurred in a residential yard, triggering alarm and prompting swift police intervention.

According to the complainant, the man’s actions left her shaken, leading her to report the matter to authorities shortly after the encounter.

He was remanded in custody and is expected to return to court today for a bail hearing.
