Councillor Sparks Online Reactions After Joining Meeting From Bathroom with Underpants Hanging – A New Zealand councillor has gone viral after joining a livestreamed council meeting from her bathroom, with underwear hanging out to dry in full view of viewers.
Councillor Jo Galer was attending the Dunedin City Council meeting remotely when Mayor Sophie Barker alerted her that her laundry could be seen on camera.
“You might want to move your camera,” Barker told Galer.
Galer responded by asking:
