Comic Elder’s Fairytale Continues: Nyanga Holiday Added to Presidential Rewards

Comic Elder has been offered a holiday at Nyanga National Park by the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority (Zimparks), just days after receiving a Ford Raptor and other high-value gifts from President Emmerson Mnangagwa at the National Youth Symposium held in Harare last week.

The offer comes as part of a wave of national recognition for the viral comedian, whose rise to fame has captivated Zimbabweans across the country.

Zimparks made the announcement on Thursday through its official social media platforms, responding to growing public calls to reward the entertainer.

“You spoke and we listened! We are pleased to offer Comic Elder a holiday at Nyanga National Park.

“Ford Raptor ngayiite basa. Amhlophe! Congratulations! Makorokoto,” read the post.

Comic Elder, whose real name is yet to be widely publicized, shot to national prominence through his online comedy skits.

His breakthrough moment came when he was honoured by President Mnangagwa with a brand-new Ford Raptor during the National Youth Day commemorations.

The recognition didn’t stop there.

In addition to the luxury vehicle, the comedian received a US$150,000 cash gift from businessman Wicknell Chivayo, free lifetime medical care from Pacific 24hr Hospital, complimentary parking in Harare, and a full solar system installation.

According to The Herald, the accolades were part of a broader initiative to celebrate youth innovation, resilience, and talent.

The Nyanga holiday offer adds to the growing list of rewards and is expected to give Comic Elder a chance to unwind after a whirlwind week of celebrations.

Zimparks said the trip would also showcase the beauty of Zimbabwe’s tourism gems while honouring a young man who has inspired many through humour and humility.
